Description
These pipes are hand TIG welded from 304-grade stainless steel in the UK. They incorporate thick flanges, and quality 200 cell high flow sport cats from Austria. They reduce weight, improve sound, and have higher flow than the OEM unit. These differ from the other cats Top Gear offers for the 996, as they are a unique design optimised for sound and power with a larger bore 2.5″ allowing greater gas flows. They taper down to meet the original 55MM piping, making them an easy fit replacement for OE.
This part fits all 996 Carrera, including the 3.4L and 3.6L engines. If you wish to maximize your power gains from the headers, and prevent any potential CEL, we also partner with and sell Softronic tunes at a discount to anyone who purchases a Top Gear product.
