Be sure to select the correct generation/engine you need a tune for. Note that if a selection says all engines, this includes options for various displacements or higher trim levels (2.7/2.9/3.4/R/S/Base/GT4/etc). The 718 has two options, one for the 4cyl turbo variants, and one for the 4.0L naturally aspirated variants.

SOFTRONIC produces DME programming and hardware. The SOFTRONIC software proprietary flashing solution outperforms all other combinations in speed and accuracy, including the factory Porsche equipment.

This kit itself includes a custom cable that connects the OBDII port to the USB port on a laptop.* The user then installs and runs the included Softronic software that will enable them to install a variety of flashes available for their automobile from the Softronic servers. These flashes are specific to your car on a stock basis, upgrades and customized files are available.

Please note, that the Softronic software runs only as a Windows® 32bit or Windows® 64bit Application and is currently not available for Mac® unless run under Bootcamp.

The 98-99 Boxster DME must be sent to Softronic for programming as the cable will not work, we will supply the address to ship to after purchase.
