A potential option to increase cooling for the front brakes on a 987, while also improving aerodynamics, is to modify 997 GT2/GT3 fender liners and air deflectors to fit.
The GT2/GT3 front fender liner blocks the radiator outlet that in a 987 normally dumps air under the front of the car. Instead, it routes all air coming through the side radiators into the wheel well, and across a deflector aimed at the back of the rotor. This should not only help with cooling the front brakes, but also improve front end aerodynamics by reducing the amount of air going under the car, and making the existing airflow much cleaner.
This is not intended to be a step-by-step guide. These parts are not a direct fit, and do require some drilling and trimming to make work. If you decide to install these, be sure to log your coolant temperatures on track and ensure the removal of the radiator outlets under the car didn’t negatively impact cooling.

The brake dust shield will need to either be removed, or trimmed. I opted to trim mine to try and help protect the sensors and joints on the hub. You can see the deflector should send that radiator air right onto the back of the rotor.

Most off the trimming is done in this lower left corner. You will need to make some trim cuts and drill holes to attach the fender liner under the car as well. You may want to block the lower radiator outlet with a piece of sheet metal before installing the liner, and may also want to install a mesh over the liner opening. Finally, you’ll need to cut a relief in the brake deflector for the tie rod.
