These headers are crafted from 304-grade stainless steel with high-strength TIG welds, thick flanges, tuned length runners, and 200 cell high flow sport cats and tuned length runners. These headers reduce weight, improve sound, and have higher flow than the OEM unit.

They fit all 987.1 Porsche Cayman and Boxster, from 2009-2012, base, S, R and Spyder models, 2.9L and 3.4L. We recommend the purchase of new OEM-style metal exhaust gaskets to install along with the headers which can be purchased as an add-on, or procure your own from your favorite replacement parts supplier.

  • The headers will bolt right up to the OEM exhaust, any Top Gear exhaust, or any aftermarket exhaust with OEM fitment.
  • These headers are not CARB certified, and may not be legal for road use in your area. These are sold as an off-road part.
  • From the 987.2 generation onward, the emissions system became a lot more sensitive to any catalytic converter changes, so a CEL post-installation of these headers is possible. If you are looking for a product guaranteed to not cause a CEL, do not buy these headers. If you are willing to potentially need to use defoulers/spacers, or tune your car, then these will work great for you.
  • If you wish to maximize your power gains from the headers, and prevent any potential CEL, we also partner with and sell Softronic tunes at a discount to anyone who purchases a Top Gear product.
  • If you plan to use your car for heavy track use, we recommend you consider the catless race header, instead. Otherwise, consider catalytic converters a potential wear item. Heat, vibration, and track abuse tends to kill cats over time (even OEM).
